With the Healthy Rewards Step Tracker feature integrated on the app, CVS CarePass subscribers can now automatically earn rewards by completing step challenges and achieving fitness goals. The program tracks weekly steps and distributes rewards when targets are met, creating a simple yet engaging way to incentivize healthy habits.
This feature strengthens CVS's position as a health and wellness-focused brand while providing tangible value to customers through their everyday activities. The program integrates seamlessly with devices across Android and iOS platforms.

RESULT
The CVS Healthy Rewards program drove measurable engagement improvements, including increased app dashboard visits, reduced membership holds, and decreased cancellation rates. Collectively, CVS Carepass members achieved 1.6 billion steps through the program.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Lead Experience Designer for the CVS Health step tracker, I led a cross-functional design team to develop a successful mobile app feature for both iOS and Android platforms. My approach emphasized user-centered design solutions, comprehensive usability testing, and detailed user journey mapping, while fostering stakeholder alignment to ensure well-informed, user-focused design decisions.
